This checklist is designed to help you keep track of your weekly obligations in HIST 365. It is general, rather than specific, so you can use it throughout the semester.
Lectures
- listen to/watch/attend lectures x 2 topics posted on the course website on the specific topic page.
- Post any questions you have related to this material in the “Preguntas (Questions)” page on the chatboard or ask them during the live lecture!
Student Engagement
- Read assigned primary sources x 2 topics
- Read and prepare questions posted on website for live discussions OR
- Read and prepare questions posted on the chatboard for on demand discussions
- Participate in either the live discussion classes (twice per week) or the on demand discussion threads in your group channel. Questions are posted Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Your responses to the questions and engagement with other students in the channel are due by Sunday at midnight.
- BIWEEKLY: Listen to the podcast episode and post your thoughts (guiding questions provided) in the appropriate channel (Convivencia, Reconquista, or Unification and Conversion).
Assignments
- Complete the quiz on Blackboard (posted on Friday afternoons; due the following Friday by 5 p.m.) NOTE: Quizzes are optional and can be done instead of writing a final exam.
- Submit assignments (Due May 21st, May 28th, and June 21st) to Blackboard.
